We’re hosting a fun spring event just for the little gardeners in your life at our Strasburg Greenhouse! Join us for a morning story time of plant exploration, where they'll embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and hands-on fun.
Activities Include:
Plant-Themed Storytime
Settle in on our picnic blanket as we read a plant based story together! By engaging with tales of plant life, we'll spark curiosity and foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Hands-On Exploration
With plants from our own greenhouse, your children will engage their senses to connect with nature firsthand. From velvety leaves to fragrant blooms, they'll have the opportunity to touch, smell, and observe a diverse array of plants related to our story.
Choose Your Own Plant
Each child will select a special plant companion from our picnic blanket to take home, continuing to inspire a love for gardening and stewardship of the environment.
It wouldn’t be a picnic without snacks!
Snack Box for Kids
Our little gardeners will receive a delightful assortment of snacks, provided by Speckled Hen, in their own snack box.
Coffee and Beverages for Adults
Enjoy a complimentary Coffee or Hot Beverage, thanks to our story-time partners at Speckled Hen.
Tickets are $25 for 1 supervising adult and 1 little gardener. Please purchase additional tickets for any additional children to ensure everyone receives their own snack and plant.
