Fall Plant and Story Hour - Sept 29th at 10:30AM

Celebrate the beauty of autumn with a cozy, nature-filled morning just for the little gardeners in your life! On September 29th at 10:30 AM, join us at our Strasburg Greenhouse for a special story time filled with seasonal plants, hands-on exploration, and the simple joys of fall.

Activities Include:

Autumn-Themed Storytime

Gather on our picnic blanket as we read a charming fall plant story together! Through tales of harvest, changing leaves, and seasonal blooms, we’ll spark curiosity and nurture a love for the natural world.

Hands-On Exploration

With plants from our own greenhouse, children will use their senses to explore the magic of harvest season—from textured seed pods to fragrant herbs and colorful blooms that thrive in the crisp fall air.

Choose Your Own Plant

Each child will choose a special fall plant companion to take home—perfect for inspiring continued care, observation, and a love for gardening.

Snack Box for Kids

Little gardeners will enjoy a hearty snack box from our friends at Speckled Hen.

Coffee and Beverages for Adults

Enjoy a complimentary Coffee or Hot Beverage, thanks to our story-time partners at Speckled Hen. 

Tickets are $25 for 1 supervising adult and 1 little gardener. Please purchase additional tickets for any additional children to ensure everyone receives their own snack and plant.
